Abstract

The article deals with a literature review of studies aimed at clarifying the predictors of complications which are associated with lithotripsy. Discussion of the prognostic significance of anamnestic data, clinical and laboratory parameters, characteristics of urolithiasis, hardware maintenance and lithotripsy techniques enable to identify the most informative criteria of complications. Using these indicators will allow us not only to use differentiated approach to the surgery, but also, if necessary, to carry out justified preventive medical therapy that eventually minimizes the potential risks to the patient.
