Abstract

The outcomes of treatment of 57 patients with Mirizzi syndrome were shown. The importance of US examination and ERCP in the diagnosis of type I and II syndrome was analyzed. Surgical treatment options are considered. In type I in 88.2 % of patients we performed laparoscopic cholecystectomy. In 11.8 % of cases we had carried out hepaticojejunostomy on defunctionalized Roux loop. The first stage of the treatment of patients with type II were endoscopic interventions. In 5.2 % of patients, they were the final stage of the treatment. The second stage was laparotomy, choledocholithotomy, gallbladder resection with the plastic repair of hepaticocholedochus (87 % of patients). In 7.8 % of cases, the only option of the surgery is hepaticojejunostomy.
